Dry Bones from Mario Party 8

Name: Dry Bones

Universe: Mario

Debut: Super Mario Bros. 3 (1988)

Availability: Starter

Dry Bones is a Skeleton version of a Koopa and a minor enemy faced in many of Bowser’s castles and dungeons in the Mario series. However, he has appeared in various spin-off Mario games such as Mario Kart and Mario Party.

In SSB4, Dry Bones will appear from an Assist Trophy and begin walking/jumping around the stage. It will run into enemies causing 8% damage for every hit and can hit opponents after the initial hit. However, if attacked, Dry Bones will crumble into a pile of bones. This usually lasts for 6 seconds before he reconstructs himself. Dry Bones is usually out in the field for 15 seconds before he disappears however, if he is hit and crumbles, this pauses his timer.

Dry Bones appears in Story Mode as a common enemy.

Dynablade from Kirby's Air Ride

Name: Dynablade

Universe: Kirby

Debut: Kirby Superstar (1996)

Dynablade is a recurring boss from Kirby. She is a enormous armored bird that swoops down and slices at enemies. She has been a enemy against Kirby and friends but sometimes aids him when he needs help. She also has a nest full of chicks that she protects against all odds.

Dynablade will swoop down at a targeted player and will attack them with her razor sharp wings. She will dive bomb a targeted player three times totaling for a damage of 15% each thus totaling at 45% damage with a high knock back and KO potential. If the player who summoned her vanishes from play, she will go to retrieve him or her and bring them back to the stage. She disappears after the three hits.

Ghirahim from Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Name: Ghirahim

Universe: Legend of Zelda

Debut: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Ghirahim makes his appearance in SSB4! He is one of the major antagonists in Skyward Sword and aims to disrupt the fate of Link and Zelda. He has strong sword and magic attacks that he utilizes well in his fighting style. He is chasing after Zelda in hopes of capturing her and using her for his own plans but is constantly interrupted by Link.

In SSB4, Ghirahim has two phases: at first he we walk around and grab a opponents attack (has to be physical; projectiles pass through him), he will then fling them to the side for a possible KO. If 8 seconds pass without an attack, he moves to his second phase (which will also commence after flinging somebody), he will hover in the air and send out scarlet energy blasts, usually between 8 and 10 across the stage. His first attack can do 30% damage while his second attack does 8% damage per hit. After his second attack, he vanishes ala Skyward Sword style.
