Boss: Hades

Hades from Kid Icarus Uprising

Name: Hades

Universe: Kid Icarus

Debut: Kid Icarus Uprising (2012)

Boss Type: Offensive

Element Affinity: Fire, Dark

-Boss Sphere-

Rarity: Rare

Type: Attack

Druation: 15 seconds

The Galactic Usurper

Hades appears from his Underworld Kingdom to rage war against the Super Smash Bros. Universe. He is manipulative and cunning as well as powerful.

He appears as a boss in the Galactic Usurper mode as a boss. He attacks with various projectiles and heavy hitting Fire element attacks. Hades first starts the fight by causing fire pillars to appear from the ground randomly. Being hit by one of these will cause upwards to 12% Fire damage and vertical knock back.

He then throws several homing projectiles that follow the opponent. They deliver 13-18% Dark damage and have a large blast radius. They will detonate if it hits another object or travels for longer than 10 seconds.

After losing half of his life, he will grow to a much larger size and occupy the background. He will fire the homing bombs as well as do physical attacks. As he swings hist fist, attack those. He will also do an unavoidable attack that covers the entire screen in purple and black flame. It deals 45% Dark and Fire damage.

Near the end of his life, he will reform to his original size and all of his attacks speed up by 2x. He switches between homing bombs, physical attacks, and the fire pillars. He may throw in the fire storm attack. When defeated, he starts to shrink and fades into the Underworld.

Boss Sphere

Hades appears and immediately begins firing homing bombs at players. After 6-9 bombs, he does the fire storm attack. His boss sphere attacks retain the same damage percentage and knock back.  He stops after the attack, straightens up, and says My, my how look how weak you are.  It`s truly…a pity.

Boss: Medusa

Medusa from Kid Icarus: Uprising

Name: Medusa

Universe: Kid Icarus

Debut: Kid Icarus (1985)

Medusa was once a ruler in Skyworld but was casted down to her tyrannical reign and usurpation of power. In anger, she retaliated against Pit, Palutena, and Skyworld. However, she was just a pawn of Hades, ruler of the underworld, as revealed in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Galactic Usurper Story Mode

Chapter: 5

Medusa has several devastating attacks such as firing projectiles and using poison to damage opponents. She first begins to fire homing and non-homing projectiles from herself. The homing attacks do low to medium damage while the non-homing does medium damage. They always have hit stun on them. Medusa than starts firing lasers that strike the ground and will continue towards the opponents. It is the most strongest at the last few seconds if the attack. Once hit, it will trap the opponent in the laser and do 2% Dark damage. She will then raise her hand and emit a poisonous cloud that comes from the mouth on her hand. When it touches an opponent, it does 5% damage with every hit. It lasts for 8 seconds. She repeats thus several times, alternating between attacks. Occasionally, she will teleport when being hit continuously.

When she is below half in health, she will transform into her monstrous form and start attack with claw swipes and charging attacks. These have high damage and knock back. Shortly after transforming, she will detach her head in which it will start floating around the screen. It will attack with fast eye beams. The body will also emit poisonous clouds to hinder opponents.

The problem is that attacking the head or body does insure you damage Medusa. When either the body or head is flashing green, they are able to be attacked. However, when they stop, they are invincible to damage. Thankfully, the body or head will be flashing the entire time. After being defeated, Medusa will collapse and fade into dark, black flames.

-Boss Sphere-

Rarity: Uncommon

Availability: Unlockable

Sadly, Medusa never transforms into her Monster form. However, she attacks with her techniques from the story mode and teleports around the room.

When she is summoned by Pit or Palutena, she says: hahaha. To think you will need my aid against these worms. Very well!”. If she is summoned against Pit or Palutena, she says: “Finally, my time for revenge is nigh! Prepare yourself,[name]!”

When she is finished, she sighs and disappears in a flurry of snakes.

My Thoughts

Medusa is one of those characters I HIGHLY considered from my roster. However, two additional character from
a non-major series, to me, was a bit too much. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Medusa playable though in SSB4.

Palutena from Kid Icarus: Uprising

Name: Palutena

Universe: Kid Icarus

Debut: Kid Icarus (1986)

Element Alignment: Light

Affinity: Good

Reasons for Fighting: Order

Availability: Starter

Palutena is the main goddess in Skyworld and Put’s superior. She has access to many abilities, most of them based on light and angels. She is able to conjure light-based weapons, shoot projectiles, fly, and summon beams of light. She comes to the fight unwillingly and aims to end the fighting quickly and to preserve peace.

Palutena’s Stats

Power: ****
Weight: ***
Defense: **
Speed: ***
Jump: ****
Recovery: ****
Element: *****

Palutena’s greatest strength resides in her Element. Her attacks are all ragged with Light element effects and can dominate over stronger Dark type opponents if played correctly. Palutena’s second best stat is Power but it relies solely on her Light based attacks since her element and power goes hand in hand. She has attacks that, while do as much damage, give above-average knock back.

Palutena’s jump and recovery move are also high. She is given multiple jumps like Pit but, on the down side, she must summon her wings which causes a bit of a lag. However, to compensate, the wings boost her up higher compared to the other characters that have multiple jumps.

Palutena is the tallest female as well as taller than Pit. She is about the height of Ganondorf though a lot slender and faster so she is able to evade better. However, because of her height, she is a much bigger target so some of her attacks have been given Super Armor. Additionally, because of her height, she has a much longer reach which is added to her light scepter. She has one of the longest reach in the game!

Palutena’s Special B Move Set

  • Neutral B – Summon Holy Weapon
  • Side B – Particle of Light
  • Up B – Angel Dust
  • Down B – Celestial Call

The Final Trio

  • Final Smash – Super Goddess Glambuster
  • Final Melee – Silence of Time
  • Final Brawl – Angelic Messenger

Summon Holy Weapon is Palutena’s Neutral Special attack. Pressing B will cause Palutena to summon a weapon entirely made of light. Palutena will then immediately attack with the weapon; depending on the type. Each weapon does different damage and speed. Pressing B again during the last animation frame will cause Palutena to move slightly forward and attack with an entirely different weapon. When this is initiated, the opponent is hit stunned to allow Palutena to summon her next weapon. She can do this up to four times.

Here is the full list of weapons Palutena can use:

  • Light Sword – The Light Sword has average speed and cuts horizontally. 8%.
  • Light Claymore – The Light Claymore has slow speed and does a over-head slash. 12%.
  • Light Mace – The Light Mace has slow speed and does a diagonal over-head slash. 10%.
  • Light Axe – The Light Axe has slow speed and does a horizontal cut. 13%
  • Light Spear – The Light Spear has average speed and does a high horizontal cut. 9%.
  • Light Lance – The Light Lance has average speed and does a stabbing attack. 11%.
  • Light Dagger – The Light Dagger has quick speed and does a quick stabbing attack. 4%.
  • Light Katana – The Light Katana has quick speed and does a quick over-head cut. 7%.

All the weapons do Light based attacks and are randomized. It is impossible to predict which one will come out when you chain them together but two of the same weapons will not appear in the full 5 hit chain. Doing the full 5 hit chain will cause Palutena to move forward slightly on the ground. It has the same effect in the air but it will cause a more downward decent and isn`t a significant help in recovering. However, doing one of the attacks will slightly de-accelerate a fall. On the 5th time while doing it in the air (non combo) will cause Palutena to go into a helpless state. She has brief Super Armor when she summons a weapon but a charged Smash attack or a stronger special can break the Super Armor.

Particles of Light is Palutena’s Special Side attack. She fires of a beam of light that varies in intensity the harder you push the analog stick to the side. The beam is fast and travels the entire screen on a small to medium level and half way in a large or huge level. Once it hits an opponent, it expels itself and explodes in light. It can be fire by pressing Side B continuously. It does a base attack of 15% Light damage with an additional 2% Light damage depending how close the opponent is to the attack launch.

Angel Dust is Palutena`s Up Special move and recovery move. Palutena disappears in a twinkle of light and, by moving where you want to go, she travels to. During this time, Palutena`s body disappears and, instead, an erratic body of light particle takes her place She is immune to attacks and it functions much like an air dodge. However, anyone who gets caught in the attack is carried away with her and receives 1% Light damage for every hit. It does very low knock back but it carries the opponents with her. At the end of the attack, Palutena slowly floats down from the air with her wings. It only lasts 5 seconds and then she enters a free fall.

Celestial Call is Palutena`s Down Special. Palutena folds her hands in prayer and a beam of light travels from the heavens to in front of her. if in the air, it shoots down to where Palutena is at. If she is hit after doing the prayer, the beam of light will still come down where it originally would fall if Palutena was still there. However, holding down B will charge up the attack and release 5 beams that hit one right after each other. It travels 4 characters bodies away from Palutena. It is a fairly power technique. Each beam does 15% Light damage and cause knock back 2 seconds after the attack initially hit. It is possible to knock back an opponent into later the beams if charged down.

Super Goddess Glambuster is Palutena’s Final Smash. Palutena summons a gigantic mega weapon. She begins charging it and fires. It is a lightning fast bright beam attack that travels the length of the stage. The first player to get hit is a OHKO while the others receive 20% Light damage. The attack is fast and lasts all of 5 seconds.

  • Beginning Cinematic: Palutena begins to pray and a magical circle appears under her. Above her, the Super Goddess Glambuster appears.

Silence of Time is Palutena’s Final Melee. Palutena pauses time and everyone is frozen in time. During this effect, sound is muffled into white noise and everything, save for Palutena, takes on a gray-scale color scheme. During the Final Melee, Palutena is able to move and attack, unlike her opponents. The opponents receive no knock back but the damage Palutena gives increases by 10%. The Final Melee itself lasts around 10 seconds.

  • Beginning Cinematic: Palutena folds her hands and begins to pray. She holds them out in out stretched arms and the world begins to be enveloped in a gray sphere.

Angelic Messenger is Palutena`s Final Brawl. Palutena`s staff begins to shine brightly.  She raises her staff and the ground under the opponents begin to shake and a light shoots up. Palutena then summons a ray of light that comes down and crashes into the opponent causes a massive explosion of holy energy. Rays of light shoot out and pierce the heavens.  It does 68-70% Light damage.

Proposed Taunts

  • Up Palutena summons her wings and she slightly hovers, spins around while glittering, and then lands.
  • Right Side – Palutena folds her hands on her chest and arches her back as if praying. A light shines around her momentarily.

  • Down – Palutena turns to the camera, nods her head to the side, and giggles slightly.

Proposed Winning Poses

  • Up Smash – Summons a Light Spear ad thrusts it upwards. It has very a very long reach and can sweetspot at the end of the spear. Sourspotted does 8-12% Light Damage while sweetspotting does 20-23% Light damage. It does high vertical knock back.
  • Down Smash – Palutena slams the butt of her staff onto the ground and a barrier of light shoots up and knocks the opponent upwards or diagonal; depending on the location of the opponent. • Ledge Attack – Pulls herself up quickly and repels the opponent with a blast of light. Does 7% Light damage. Quick but a little ending lag.

  • Down Throw – Slams opponent on the ground and slams the butt of the staff into the opponent.  Does 6% damage and is her weakest throw.

My Thoughts

At first, I was pretty skeptical about adding Palutena into my SSB4 roster since she didn`t seem too much like a fighter.  However, the more I thought about it, the more interesting she became to me. So I sat down, as I usually do, to flesh out her character by writing out her move set, stats, and special move set.  What came out was a very complex and interesting character that specialized in mid-far range attacks, projectiles, and with excellent recovery actions.  I then decided to axe Krystal in favor of Palutena.  I understand that might make some people mad but I will explain my reasoning for doing so.

Arguements for Palutena

  1. She is a female magical staff user.  Adds variety into the SSB roster.
  2. She is from Kid Icarus.  You might ask yourself why Kid Icarus deserves two reps.  Well, here are my reasons for thinking why there will be two reps for Kid Icarus: Sakurai made Kid Icarus: Uprising.  If you haven`t noticed, Sakurai loves his creations.  Kirby has been in SSB since its creation and while Meta Knight and Dedede weren`t in SSBM, they both made it into SSBB.  Metaknight is considered S tier and God-like and King Dedede is also a very powerful character.  As well, Knuckle Joe is an Assist Trophy.  Not to mention that four items from Kirby (Warp Star, Star Rod, Maxim Tomato, Super Spicy Curry, and the Dragoon are from the Kirby universe.  Not to mention that the Dragoon is a powerful and rare weapon.  And if that wasn`t enough, the Helberd was an essential portion of the storyline in Brawl and made many on-screen appearances.  So, essentially, Sakurai likes to see his creations in the SSB games.  That is why my reasoning is that we will see many aspects of Kid Icarus comes into SSB.
  3. Kid Icarus is a classical series brought back and rebooted successfully.
  4. Palutena is another gliding character and adds to the aerial game.
  5. She has good plot line material.
  6. Important and iconic character within the Kid Icarus and even Nintendo.
  7. Relevant due her playing an important part in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Chances of being in SSB4

55% – Despite the reasons I gave, it`s still 50/50 with slightly in Palutena`s favor that she will make an appearance in SSB4.  It all depends how much influence Sakurai has in the game.  However, I can see he become an important and playable character.

Palace in the Sky

Pit and Palutena Artwork from Kid Icarus: Uprising

Name: Palace in the Sky

Universe: Kid Icarus

Debut: Kid Icarus (1986)

Stage Size: Large

Obstacle Level: 4 (out of 5)

Type: Stationary

Availability: Starter

Palace in the Sky is the seat of Palutena’s power in Skyworld. It is here that Palutena gives orders and where Pit is sworn to protect. The actual stage is Palutena’s Throne Room is which located in the Palace. The Palace in the Sky swarms with centurions and angels. The Palace itself retains the look of Skyworld with a lot of columns, buildings, and paved streets. It is a very old and beautiful palace adorned with flowers, trees, and fountains.

Palace in the Sky has similar architecture as Skyworld. It is in an ancient throne room with one long floating stone platform, two smaller floating platforms above it, and then a singular floating platform above those. It makes a triangle shape. Underneath the floating stone platforms are clouds with the same mechanics as found in Skyworld; where the stone platforms can break apart after receiving damage. However, unlike in Skyworld, the stone blocks that are above the main platform can be passed through.

Palutena and Her Staff

The background contains various centurions and angels flying back and forth. It contains a great stone dais with Palutena sitting high on her throne chamber. Behind her stand the statue seen in the Skyworld stage. Next to her are pillars of light that glow when Palutena stands up. When Palutena stands up from her throne, a bright light blue light builds up around her and stage. At this time, the stage is blasted with a holy bluish light that can damage players though Light element characters receive a quarter damage while Dark element character receive double damage.

Obstacles and Movements

The stage is stationary through out the entire game though the stone platforms can be broken up causing players to fall through the clouds. As well, the bottom platform cannot be passed through thus making recovery extremely hard if caught beneath. Them ost damaging and only hazard in the game is attacks by Palutena. At certain points of the match, Palutena will stand up and raise her staff as seen int he main picture. Her staff will begin glowing with a bluish white light as well as the pillars next to her. Her staff will then flash and blinding the screen for half a second thus rendering the vision of players. A bluish light will then assault the stage.

There are two types of attacks:

One type is a singular strong beam that goes through the center of the stage, left side of the stage, or right side of the stage. It can also pass through the middle from the side. It damages between 18-25% damage depending on how many hits. It will destroy any stone platforms.

The other type of attack is a ball of light that appears above the stage. It will then shoot out powerful blasts that can target onto players and follow them. One hit does 20-22% damage. It usually fires between 5 and 7 blasts of light. This attack is shorter. Dodging, air dodging, rolling and shielding can save you from damage. If it hits a stone platform, it will break it and still pass through to the opponent.

My Thoughts

Obviously Kid Icarus: Uprising has yet to come out but will be released on March 23rd. I will update this post once new information comes out regarding the game and pictures. I envisioned this stage looking similar to Skyworld in SSBB but, instead of outside, the fighting occurs inside the Palace in the Sky. I thought it would be interesting to include Palutena in the background as well as affecting the stage with light-based attacks.

Chances of Being in SSB4

50% – Some stage based of Uprising will certaintly be in SSB4, especially since Sakurai developed the game. I expect to see some sort of stage based off from the game but it’s 50/50 if it will be Palace in the Sky.

Veteran: Pit

The clouds seem angry and violent; churning and rumbling. In the distance, a darkness dwells that gobbles up the light and grows from its nourishment. The clouds that seemed like home was now a chaos of evil. It was a evil, swirling vortex that swallowed everything and gave nothing. Suddenly, the light shine and a beautiful godly form appeared between the light and the dark. The form cried out for help, to save the heavens from this creature that aimed to swallow everything in the heavens; in the universe up. She pleaded to those who would listen but, soon, even her light gave way, and she vanished in the shadows. Yet, even as the shadows swallowed up the light from her, a winged warrior came forth; flying through the clouds in haste. The winged warrior looked into the pits of chaos and within, he saw a floating mechanical island that seemed to spew out this darkness. He followed the pleas of help as he dived deep into swirling chaos.

Pit from Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Name: Pit

Universe: Kid Icarus

Debut: Kid Icarus (1987)

Element Alignment: Light

Affinity: Good

Purpose for Fighting: Virtue

Availability: Starter

Perks: Sword Damage, Double Sword Damage, Projectile Damage, Double Projectile Damage, Projectile Damage Resistance, Double Projectile Damage Resistance, Speed Increase, Double Speed Increase, Health Buff, Double Health Buff

Pit first appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and quickly became popular resulting in a upcoming 3DS game “Kid Icarus: Uprising“. Pit uses various weapons from Kid Icarus: Uprising that wasn’t availible when SSBB came out. Therefore, Pit should reflect his most recent appearance from the 3DS game.

Proposed Changes from SSB to SSB4

Pit is a well-balanced character with a few advantages and disadvantages. Pit`s Blades of Palutena have recieved a increase in power (neutral aerial, forward aerial, dash attack, down tilt, forward tilt in particular). Pit`s forward throw can no longer chain throw but has KO power. Besides that, many of Pit`s special attacks have changed to fit Uprising. Pit`s Side B move with the Orbitar attack and Down B is the EZ Cannon Equp. As well, all of Pit`s Smash attacks have a new attacks based on Uprising weapons.

Pit`s Special B Move Set

The Final Trio

  • Final Smash: Palutena’s Army
  • Final Melee: Atlas
  • Final Brawl: Divine Light

Palutena’s Bow works the same as it did in Brawl but resembles more so the Kid Icarus: Uprising version.

Obritars work very similar to the Angel Ring, but when activated, it lasts for 15 seconds. The two Orbitars will revolve around Pit protecting him from harm and deflecting projectiles, much like the Mirror Shield did in SSBB. When Pit comes into contact with someone, they will pulse thus damaging the opponent. Does 15-20% damage.

Wings of Icarus remains the same as before.

EZ Cannon Equip allows Pit to equip the Cannon feature to his arm. It can be charged to unleash a powerful beam type attack, much alike Samus’ Zero Laser but on a much less grander scale. However, if you use it two times at max output, it will dysfunction and the player will have to wait for 2 minutes to allow it to cool down. If Pit equips the EZ Cannon, he will become much heavier and his jumps will be weighed down. As well, Pit will be unable to active Wings of Icarus nor perform his second jumps. If you Equip the EZ Cannon while in mid flight, Pit will automatically fall to the ground. However, the player can still shoot the cannon will falling to the ground. As well, he will be unable to crawl, dodge, dash, or roll while equipping it. Pressing Down B again will unequip the EZ Cannon. Does 30-45% Light damage with 45% being fulled charged.

Palutena`s Army is Pit`s Final Smash. It has been altered from SSBB so that Palutena does not appear in the background but, rather, a image of the Palace in the Sky. As well, Pit is unable to move aorund while this Final Smash is happening but he is unable to take damage or recieve knock back.

  • Beginning Cinematic: Pit thrusts his hand into the sky and it begins the glow with a bright light. The light pierces into the skies and rays burst down.

Atlas is Pit’s new Final Melee move. Pit summons the foot of a mighty Titan to stop on the stage. If Pit just summons the titan, the giant will stomp once or twice however, if the player repeatedly presses A, the giant will stop faster resulting in six to ten stomps; depending how fast the player can press A. Deals anywhere from 40-92% damage.

  • Beginning Cinematic: Pit takes a light orb and squashes it in his hand which glitters away. A roar erupts from the heavens and Pit begins to shine with a holy light.

Divine Light is Pit’s Final Brawl. Pit raises his arms and holds them up the air. Light bursts forth and shatters the clouds. Light beams shine down and carve a magical circle under the opponent. Pit claps his hands And a pair of angelic wings appear from underneath the opponent and then, a bright light explodes from the opponent. The screen gross extremely bright and a shadow of Pit can be seen standing in front of it. The opponent is thrown horizontally with a high knock back and a extremely high KO potential. It causes between 60-80% Light damage.

Proposed Stage – Palace in the Sky

Proposed New Taunt(s)

  • NEW Right Side – Pit arches his back, yawns, stretches out his arms, and stretches out his wings. He than flaps his wings twice before resuming his battle pose.

Proposed Palette Swaps

Pit's Pink Palette Swap

I will add more information tomorrow. Pit was a surprise due to a large amount of translating his SSBB moves to fit with a KI:U based move set.

Pit`s Current Move Set (taken from theSmashWikia)
Changes made in BOLD

  • Neutral Attack – Slashes three times, spins the blades together back and forth, hitting repeatedly. Interestingly, Pit cannot enter his rapid fire attack by simply holding the “Attack” button, he will only do a three hit combo. However, once he has entered the rapid fire attack, it is necessary only to continue holding ‘Attack’ to continue it. This means Pit essentially has two different combos depending if the button is tapped or held initially. 11% damage rapid attack: 1% per hit.
  • Dash Attack – Small slash forward with one of his blades below, average knock back. 13% damage.
  • Strong Side – Thrusts both blades forward causing 14% damage and good knockback.
  • Strong Up – Plants bow into the ground and does a handstand with it, performing two kicks above him, the first comboing into the next. Causes 16% damage.
  • Strong Down – Crouches and swipes blade towards the ground causing 12% damage. Can spike when the foot and blade touch the opponent.

  • Side Smash – A strong slash by the Blade weapon followed by a short gun burst from it for additional damage. The longer you charge it, the longer the plasma Blade is. The knockback is in the first slash. The second attack does an additional 10% damage. [30% fully charged with gun burst]
  • Up Smash – Pit slams the Insight Staff onto the ground and a short magical burst that looks like the point of the spear erupts from it and extends at the height at the max of 8 Pit heads. The longer the attack is charged, the higher the magical attack. The knockback point is at the very top of the spear which provides the most knockback potential and KO potential of any of Pit’s Smash attacks[18% fully charged]
  • Down Smash – Pit equips his Tiger Claws and crouches. He immediately slashes at both sides of him. It slashes to his right with his right and then to the left with his left arm. Does 17% damage.

  • Ledge Attack – Slides on stage with a kick similar to Falco’s ledge attack.
  • 100% Ledge Attack – Pauses for a moment while getting his swords ready, then stabs 10% damage.
  • Floor Attack – Slashes with his bow split left and right separately. Identical to Ike’s Down Smash in form.

Aerial Attacks

  • Neutral Aerial – Spins both blades together in front of him, hitting multiple times causing 12% if all hits connect. This can stop weak projectiles if executed at the right time.
  • Forward Aerial – Thrusts both blades forward and quickly brings them apart, slashing horizontally doing 16% damage.
  • Back Aerial – Thrusts sword behind him. Quick and very powerful, Pit’s highest knock back aerial move. Not easy to short hop with. Causes 15% damage.
  • Up Aerial – Spins his blades together above his head, hitting multiple times causing 12% if all connect. can be used after down throw to hit heavy/fast falling characters reliably.
  • Down Aerial – Slashes under him causing 12% damage. high priority, can be used up to 5 times in the air if used right after initial-midair jumps the 5th is only if you use WoI.
  • Glide Attack – Slashes both swords in a 160 degree arc from bottom to forward. 13% damage, good knockback. Great killing move.

Grabs and Throws

  • Pummel – Knees them in the gut, dealing 2% damage.
  • Forward Throw – Slashes opponent doing 10% damage. Can chaingrab at very low percentages against heavier characters.
  • Back Throw – Twirls around with the enemy in tow, slamming them on the ground and launches him backward resulting in 8% damage.
  • Up Throw – Does a handstand and kicks opponent with both feet causing 11% damage.
  • Down Throw – Slams opponent on the ground and plunges bow into his/her back dealing 6% damage.

  • Up: Spins his blades in each hand, then crosses them. He says, “The fight is on!”. In the Japanese version he says, “Shoubu da!” (Let’s fight/beat).
  • Side: Slices at the air, similarly to a Subspace Emissary video, and from the E3 trailer. He says, “You’re not ready yet!”. In the Japanese version he says “Mada Mada!” (That’s not enough).
  • Down: Floats in the air and poses angelically, looking up.
  • Stage Entrance – Pit floats down to the stage in a pillar of light with his wings spread.

My Thoughts

Pit should have a move set that resembles/matches to Kid Icarus: Uprising. It would make for a interesting move set since Pit has a lot of weapons and tools at his disposal. However, this would mean an entire revamp of Pit’s move set which is already good in Brawl. My consensus is to make Pit similar in terms of game play to his Uprising version.
