The Galactic Usurper Chapter 6

Mario, Olimar, and Pokémon Trainer rode on Landia’s back toward the floating mechanical island in the distance. However, before they could reach it – a blazing purple energy ball slams into Landia. Landia swerved off and dropped down in altitude. A second shot streaked overhead. From the island, turrets fired volley after volley. Landia managed to fly overhead but a volley caught Landia in the chest. In the ensuing chaos, Olimar fell off Landia’s back and plummeted into the mechanical island.

Landia spiraled out of control toward the ground. Mario and the Pokémon Trainer braced for impact when, suddenly, Landia stopped in mid air. Mario and the Pokémon Trainer peered around Landia’s unconscious body.

Meanwhile, Olimar finds himself on the mechanical island. He traveled through the interior. However, as he traveled further through the dark, dank corridors, he heard footsteps coming from around the corner. He readied a Pikmin and pressed himself against the wall. The footsteps stopped.

Olimar peered around the corner and found himself face to face with a blonde haired youth.

Enter: Lucas!

Lucas, startled, fell backward and, in his surprise, released a spark of Psipower which rang loud in the dark corridor. A alarm sounded and they began to run blindly. Around them, Senditoms and dark turrets started to attack them.

However, suddenly, they are stopped and a purple dark energy grabbed hold of them. From a dark void, Nightmare appeared. He laughed hideously, letter them up using the dark energy, and brought them close to his face.

A rumbling sound erupted in the darkness and from the ceiling, a crash rang out and the corridor was gull if dust and smoke. Landing on top of Olimar and Lucas was Peach, Link, Wario, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Fox, and Ike. They get up quickly when they see Nightmare but, sadly, Olimar and Lucas was flattened by the group.

Boss: Nightmare

Nightmare is much stronger than his playable form. He possesses incredible strength and power. His attacks hit much harder and he is capable of using his Final Smash more than once during the battle.

The first portion consists if fighting Nightmare in the corridor. You can choose four players to fight with. His HP is at 500. Once he goes down to 300, he will smash the corridor which cause the wall to collapse and opening it to the sky outside. By some evil magic or force, the scraps if metal float in the air next to the island.

The players jump onto the metal as Nightmare attacks them. He is able to take control of the broken panels and bring them closer to him. When that happens, attack him while dodging his attacks. Once he gets to 100%, he will jump back into the corridor and do his Final Melee. After that, he will begin to suck in all the energy around him. Use this opportunity to attack him.

Once he gets down to 50%, the battle will end.

After the fight, Nightmare grabbed all the players with the dark purple energy and flung them back into the corridor opening. He then beganto charge up a powerful energy attack. The group prepared for the worse when suddenly he stopped. They looked behind and saw Mario and Pokémon Trainer on top of a revived Landia.

Floating next to them was a glowing figure with flowing robes, beautiful hair, a magical sword, yet a sad smile. Nightmare grunted and was about to release his power when Landia along with Charizard rushed in, grabbed the players and flew up. As soon as they were clear, the glowing figure released a gigantic magical attack that eclipsed Nightmare and engulfed the side of the island.

From the bright light, the group flew away into the sky with a smoking mechanical island in the distance. In the wreckage, the form of Nightmare appeared. His eyes glowed purple-blue and a dark, intense aura flowed from him.

The Galactic Usurper Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Peach, Kirby, Donkey Kong, and Link move into attack. A purple glow comes from their eyes and a evil aura spills forth. The other ground, Fox, Ike, Bowser, and Wario looked shocked.

Enemy: Peach
Peach has a lot more power and all of her attacks do Dark damage.

Enemy: Kirby
Kirby has a lot more power, can copy abilities, and all of his attacks do Dark damage.

Enemy: Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong delivers a lot more damage and all of his attacks do Dark damage.

Enemy: Link
Link’s attacks all his Dark damage on it and deliver much more power. He is also faster.

When these four are beat, the shadow on the throne screams and he slams his fist. The door opens and a shadowy figure comes out.

Enter: Dark Samus

Enemy: Dark Samus

This version of Dark Samus is much more powerful and faster than her playable form. She can deal much more damage.

When Dark Samus is defeated, he sends her into a cell and transports her into a shaft. He then slams his hand and screams. From the other side, a girl, covered in snakes walks in.

Boss: Medusa

Medusa has several devastating attacks such as firing projectiles and using poison to damage opponents. She first begins to fire homing and non-homing projectiles from herself. The homing attacks do low to medium damage while the non-homing does medium damage. They always have hit stun on them. Medusa than starts firing lasers that strike the ground and will continue towards the opponents. It is the most strongest at the last few seconds if the attack. Once hit, it will trap the opponent in the laser and do 2% Dark damage. She will then raise her hand and emit a poisonous cloud that comes from the mouth on her hand. When it touches an opponent, it does 5% damage with every hit. It lasts for 8 seconds. She repeats thus several times, alternating between attacks. Occasionally, she will teleport when being hit continuously.

When she is below half in health, she will do her Final Smash and transform into her monstrous form and start attack with claw swipes and charging attacks. These have high damage and knock back. Shortly after transforming, she will detach her head in which it will start floating around the screen. It will attack with fast eye beams. The body will also emit poisonous clouds to hinder opponents.

The problem is that attacking the head or body does insure you damage Medusa. When either the body or head is flashing green, they are able to be attacked. However, when they stop, they are invincible to damage. Thankfully, the body or head will be flashing the entire time. After being defeated, Medusa will collapse and fade into dark, black flames.

After the fight, the shadowy figure will scream. Medusa cones back to life and Peach, Kirby, Donkey Kong, and Link awake as well. They become surrounded when a darkness fills the room.

The shine of blades erupt in the darkness and a explosion rocks the room. The darkness fades and standing in the middle of the room is Meta Knight and Chrom, side by side. Peach, Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Link’s eyes readjust and return to normal. Off to the side lies a smoking machine that was controlling them.

Meta Knight throws his sword into a button on the far side of the room. A shaft below each group opens up and they fall down. However, in the process, Meta Knight and Chrom are captured by Senditoms.

The group fall into the confines of the mechanical island and must find their way out.

Meanwhile, Mario and Olimar are walking through a forest. Above in the air, Kneekbaks are searching for them. Olimar is using his Pikmin for scouting.

However, suddenly, fire explodes in the air and the Kneekbacks are scattered. A blast of fire sears through the air and burns the enemies. The others are then drenched in a torrent of water and malfunction. Finally, vines appear, capture some of the Kneekbaks, and swing them down.

Olimar and Mario come out of the forest and standing on a grassy knoll is …

Enter: Pokémon Trainer

The trio are just about to be united when, out of the blue, a beast comes and carries the Pokémon Trainer away.

Boss: Landia

Landia is somehow being controlled by a evil force. He is carrying Pokémon Trainer in his claws. However, Charizard appears and grabs Mario and Olimar and chases after his trainer.

If you choose Mario, you must shoot fireballs or attack Landia from Charizards back. As Olimar, you must attack using Pikmin. Every attack cause Landia to slow down but, by not attacking continuously, Landia will begin to speed up.

After Landia reaches 0% health, he will land on a misty mountain top. He will have around 300% health. He will begin the fight with his Final Smash. He will split into four separate dragons and will start to attack the player randomly. Try and not die during this part. Dodging or attack canceling is your best bet.

He will blow fireballs at you so just dodge or block them. They do 20% Fire damage Afterward, he will charge and attempt to capture you. If he does, he will carry you to the top for a OHKO so make you roll dodge or attack before he can. Attacking him will cause Landia to flinch.

He will then spout a stream of fireballs. Dodge or block these to avoid him. After the stream of fireballs, attack. Repeating this pattern will open your path to victory.

Afterward, Landia returned back to normal. He motions for Mario and Olimar to climb onto his back and Pokémon Trainer will follow. They then head to the floating mechanical island.

Saki and Ike are battling each other atop a high rocky outcrop. A storm brews over head and threatens to engulf them in it’s tempest.

Saki fires a round of blaster shots and Ike either blocks or dodges them. Ike then spins around and cuts at Saki who dodges out of the way. The two begin to exchange blows and appear to be in a stalemate. Then distance each other and begin to stare one another down.

Just then, the tempest began to whirl together and formed a raging cyclone. It threatened to swallow the two up.

Stage: Raging Tempest

Characters: Ike, Saki

Goal: Reach the ground without falling, getting sucked up by the cyclone, or being KO’d by the foe.

Ike and Saki make it to the ground and prepares to battle when a massive monster appears from the cyclone. It has a tornado like body but robotic arms and legs with boulders attached to them.

Boss: Cyclonis

The first part of the fight involves Cyclonis chasing after Link and Fox. They must outrun the powerful monster as he throws boulders and mini tornadoes. The boulders do moderate damage and knock back. However, they are slow and easy to dodge. The tornadoes though are much faster, deal less damage, but throw opponents high into the air. Players at higher percentages may be KO`d with this move.

The pair are then chased to a cliff and look down a massive cliff. They then turn to face the giant Cyclonis who is blocking their path. Suddenly, the sky opens up and a burning figure can be seen shooting across the sky. The burning figure flies right straight into the giant tornado monster and hits him right in the head. The monster trips and launches over the cliff into the ground far below. From the air comes a pudgy, moustached figure.

Enter: Wario!

Wario bounces on the ground and lays there for several moments. Link and Fox edge closer to Wario to look at what is wrong when suddenly, he jumps up. He starts screaming and holding his head which has a huge bump on it. Wario then sees Link and Fox and jumps up; startled.

The ground starts to suddenly shake and, from the cliff face, emerges Cyclonis. His tornado body is now black and violent; pulsating and twisting every which way. Cyclonis launches itself onto the ground and starts shooting out gusts of wind.

Boss: Cyclonis Part 2

Characters: Saki, Ike, Wario

Cyclonis causes two torandoes to spawn from the right and left of the screens to prevent opponents from running away. he appears in the background. As before, he throws out boulders which do moderate damage and knock back and throws out tornadoes which can throw opponents in the air.

However, he also causes wind to blow from one side or the other. The side tornadoes can KO a player as low as 40% so its best to avoid them and to run against the wind. He repeats this several times.

He will then jump high in the air and come smashing down into the ground with its tornado-like body. It will then spin like a drill. This is its most devastating attack and can do upwards to 55% damage total. However, at the end of the attack, it becomes dizzy and disoriented so attack it then.

After doing this several times, he will perform a Final Smash. Two massive tornados will appear at his hands and he will throw them into the ground. A massive cyclone will erupt and can cause between 50-80% wind damage. Repeating this process several times will cause the foe to collapse on the ground.

After the fight, the Nitroskiff pulls up with Fox, Bowser, and Isaac. Saki, Ike, and Wario, startled, gets into a fighting stance and prepares to fight. However, before a fight can begin; a sudden purple vortex appears and a figure steps out of it. A dark anf firghtening figure…

Enter: Nightmare

Isaac, Bowser, Fox, Saki, Ike, and wario all get into a fighting stance but Nightmare, laughing hysterically, holds alof Soul Edge. The demonic sword starts collecting a purple, siwrling dark energy into it`s eye. As the energy is collected, it directs itself into Cyclonis.

Nightmare holds out his monster-like arm and begins to laugh menacingly. From the remains of Cyclonis, a purple energy begins to pour forth. The group look on horrified as the monster, Cyclonis, gets up while surges of dark energy swarms its body.

Nightmare slams his sword into the ground and the purple vortex appears. He steps inside the swirling vortex but not without looking back at the group.

Boss: Nightmare Cyclonis

Characters: Isaac, Bowser, Fox, Ike, Saki, Wario

Nightmare Cyclonis is very powerful and utilizes devastating attacks. He appears to the side and, unlike before, side tornadoes do not appear as before. He first throws out three to five small purple torandoes. They spin very fast and try to suck in the player. If sucked in, it will throw them high into the air. Nightmare Cyclonis will then use a Air Vacuum attack to drain energy and give him health. Therefore, it`s best to avoid these tornadoes.

Cyclonis will then cause a massive cone of purple wind to blast through the stage. It does 45% damage and deals high knock back. Afterward, he will do the smae but summon 3 tornado cones from the sky into the ground. These again do 45% damage.

However, afterward, he tires out from using the tornadoes so start attackin then. Smash attacks and aerial attacks work the best. After this, Cyclonis will regain its energy and perform its most devastating attack Nightmare Vacuum. It is a unavoidable, unblockable attack that does 50% damage based on the amount of health you have when the attack begins. It also does high knock back afterward. Fox is able to reflect this attack though and do damage to Cyclonis so bring out Fox when he prepares this attack.

This repeats four times before he is defeated. Cyclonis turns into a purple tornado and vanishes into the sky.

However, before the group can celebrate, the skies open up and the massive mechanical island appears. from the bottom of the island, six large purple dark energy hands appear and grabs the players. However, Isaac and Saki are the only ones able to escape. The rest are taken into the mechanical island.

The island vanishes like a mist being dissapated by wind. Isaac and Saki look up and then at each other. Unsure of what they should do, they take the abandoned Nitroskiff and move forward.

Elsewhere, inside the mechanical floating island, Bowser, Wario, Ike, and Fox finds themselves in seperated holding cells. The cells have energy barriers to keep them inside. Four Guard Senditoms release the gates and bring the prisoners out. They are lead through a wide, purple-lite hallway and into a mighty chamber.

On the dais is a regal throne with a shadowed figure sitting. Standing in front of the heros are four of thier comrades: Link, Kirby, Peach, and Donkey Kong. They all have a purple, shadowy appearance and a red glow in thier eyes.

A gutteral laugh comes from the shadowy figure and, shortly after, “Fight” comes from its unseen lips.

Once he reaches 100 HP, he will fall back down again and resume attacking with slow but brutal sword strikes. They can shatter shields but it’s best to avoid them at all possible. One of his attacks is a powerful thrust attack that deals 29% Dark Damage and high knockback. King Ashnard has Super Armor during the entire fight and won’t flinch when attacked.

After the boss is defeated, Fox, Link, and Bowser proceed to run down from the castle when a large meteorite strikes the castle ruins and it crumbles. A giant hand comes from the heavens, grabs Link and pulls him into the heavens while Bowser and Fox look on; unsure what is happening. Link vanishes in the clouds and, from them, a horde of Senditoms come crashing to the ground.
